askarslibrary:

First look at Bill Skarsgård in Season 2 of Hemlock Grove:

"Set in a small Pennsylvania town, ‘Hemlock Grove’ centers on the friendship between Roman (Bill Skarsgard), the young heir to the Godfrey family fortune, and a recent arrival, a gypsy named Peter Rumancek (Landon Liboiron). As the second season opens, the pair is dealing with the fallout from a deadly massacre, and Roman specifically is wrestling with a fractured relationship with his mother (Janssen) and the disappearance of his sister Shelley (Madeleine Martin).

The cast also includes features Dougray Scott, Madeline Brewer, Joel de la Fuente and Kaniehiio Horn.

'Hemlock Grove' arrived last spring to mixed reviews, with some critics objecting to the show’s narrative structure and pacing (though others praised it as campy fun). Viewers responded, however –  Netflix Chief Executive Reed Hastings told analysts after its premiere last year that the series was watched by more subscribers in its first few days than its high-profile sister show 'House of Cards,' the political drama starring Kevin Spacey as a ruthless Southern schemer.

For ‘Hemlock Grove’s’ second season, executive producer Charles “Chic” Eglee, whose previous television credits include ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Dexter,’ was brought on as showrunner, taking over from McGreevy and his writing partner, Lee Shipman, along with Mark Verheiden, who oversaw Season 1.”

Driving across town to get a cake at Porto’s during rush hour: 60 Minutes. Setting up and gathering most of the crew in The Commissary for the event: 30 Minutes. Getting an actor out of rehearsal and behind a kitchen to hand him the cake for the big-reveal: 15 Minutes. Surprising The most awesome/fashionable Art Director in the business with a surprise going away party and a cake delivered by “The Love of Her Life” (Other than her husband, duh) Mr. Alexander Skarsgård “Eric” himself on her last day: PRICELESS! Love you Cat Smith, True Blood won’t ever be the same without you/your shoes.
